WE ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS OF THE VIII EDITION.<\/h4>\n

Castell-Platja d’Aro, July 26, 2021.<\/p>\n

After a difficult selection, the international photographic project contest \u201c Educating the Eye \u201d<\/strong> , organized by the \u201cMerc\u00e8 Rodoreda\u201d library of Castell-Platja d’Aro, we can now announce the 5 winners.<\/p>\n

We have received 334 projects from a total of 291 amateur and professional photographers from 37 countries.<\/p>\n

The winners of this 8th edition are:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • First prize: Joana Casas Poves, \u201cFins que el confinament ens separi\u201d (Vic)<\/li>\n
  • second prize: Katy Gom\u00e8z Lopez, “Transhumance, Go and come between vereas” (Jaen)<\/li>\n
  • third prize: Diego Pedra Benzal, \u201cDegradation\u201d (Cornella de Llobregat)<\/li>\n
  • Young Author Award: Ana Sanchez Viaje, \u201cUntitled\u201d (Cantabria)<\/li>\n
  • local award: Helena Aguilar Mayans, \u201cDreamers of decadence\u201d (Olot)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Like every year, we have received a wide variety of works, from photojournalistic works to artistic and author projects. Interestingly, this year just over half of the authors have been from Spain.<\/p>\n

    We will personally contact the winners to manage the delivery of the prizes.<\/p>\n
