Organised by the City Council and the Mercè Rodoreda Library of Castell Platja d’Aro i S’Agaró, the Castell d’Aro, Platja d’Aro and S’Agaró Photographic Days annually offer a set of workshops, conferences, activities and masterclasses by renowned national and international photographers, which invite you to learn, experiment and reflect on photography. Each year a “fil rouge” is established, a theme around which the different activities are developed.
They are a set of photographic activities such as conferences, seminars and workshops, international contest of photographic projects, etc. held annually since 2014.
The Photographic Days are intended as a space of arrival and at the same time of departure, a «meeting point». A stage where to exchange, offer and receive knowledge and different points of view around photography.
Participation of the activities of the Photographic Days are completely free of charge, but places are limited. Prior registration is required.

The Castell-Platja d’Aro and S’Agaró Photographic Days celebrate their twelfth edition.
In a critical review – and despite past efforts – we have identified a chronic under-representation of women among our speakers.
A lack of visibility that does not correspond to the large group of professionals, artists, thinkers, students, and other people interested in photography.
For this reason, we have built this XI edition around photographers who think, reflect, create, star and are an indispensable and consubstantial part of photography.
The workshops and activities are free to participate, but places are limited and prior registration is required.
To register, you can add the workshop or activity (or several) to your cart and make the “purchase” at zero cost.
It is important that you do not book a place in workshops that overlap in schedule, to leave the places free for other people.
