The Castell-Platja d’Aro and S’Agaró Photographic Days celebrate their eleventh edition. In a critical review – and despite past efforts – we have identified a chronic under-representation of women among our speakers. A lack of visibility that does not correspond to the large group of professionals, artists, thinkers, students, and other people interested in photography. For this reason, we have built this XI edition around photographers who think, reflect, create, star and are an indispensable and consubstantial part of photography.
From November 08 to 10, 2024 you have a new appointment with the Photographic Days of Castell-Platja d’Aro and S’Agaró.
The conference, with a varied programme of conferences, seminars, workshops and photographic activities by national and international photographers, is held every year around a different theme and has already become a consolidated event for photography lovers everywhere.
This year’s edition, which will mostly take place at the Masía Bas in Platja d’Aro, will be about “A look at photography“.
In this XII edition we celebrate the personal and essential look that women bring to the world of photography.
Recognizing the value and creativity of female photographers, artists, teachers and thinkers, a program has been designed that puts their vision and indispensable contribution at the forefront.
These conferences are an opportunity to explore, share and enrich photographic dialogue through the voices and gazes of women who are redefining and starring in photography. Join us in celebrating this diversity and discovering new perspectives that inspire and transform.
Registration & Cost.
The activities are all free to attend, but require prior registration. You can add the activity(s) to your cart and leave with your reservations “at zero cost” (you can add several activities and “check-out” at the end).

Although attendees can participate for free, places in the activities are valued at up to €400 per participant.
