Technology is constantly transforming the way we create and communicate. Photographers have always learned to integrate new tools and now we have one that can be revolutionary: generative text Artificial Intelligences. This course, which consists of two two-hour sessions, is designed to help you lose your fear and explore the potential of these tools.

The course is part of the offer of audiovisual activities of the Bibliolab in Audiovisual Culture of the Mercè Rodoreda Library in Castell-Platja d’Aro and S’Agaró. You can sign up for both workshops (putting both activities in the “cart”), or only the first, or only the second.

ABOUT DIEGO ESPADA:
Diego is a photographer with more than 25 years of experience in fields such as advertising, performing arts, reportage, portraiture, corporate photography and art reproduction. In recent years she has focused on accessible and senior tourism, combining her commitment to diversity and accessibility with the use of photography as a tool for social change.
In addition to his work as a photographer, he is a university professor in the Degree in Audiovisual Communication and Multimedia, director of the postgraduate degree in Photography at the EU ERAM and co-director of events such as the Platja d’Aro Photographic Days and the international competition “Educating the Gaze”.
In the social sphere, it is committed to the use of the image and visual technology as a tool for transformation, with participatory projects that make visible realities that are often ignored or misrepresented. It believes in the collective construction of imaginaries and in enriching our iconosphere with authentic images that celebrate diversity.
As a teacher, he focuses on the need for a critical look. Her methodology, “critical visual literacy in diversity”, combines photographic technique with reflection on the message, context and impact of images.
He enjoys work and challenges, and the experience of years coordinating diverse teams and projects allows him to empathize with the needs of each institution and offer effective and personalized solutions.
