30 Jul Winners of the XI “Educating the Eye” Contest

The photo project competition, which is held annually and is open to photographers of all levels from all over the world, has received a total of 419 projects, from 338 authors from 52 countries, with more than 4,438 photographs (!).
After a difficult evaluation by our jury and a tie-breaker for the 3rd prize made by the Mercè Rodoreda Library, we have the great pleasure to announce the winners of this edition:
The winners are:
- 1st Prize: Juan Luis Duran Guinot (Valencia), project “Miners”
- 2nd Prize: Subrata Dey (Bangladesh), project “Dissonance Harmony”
- 3rd Prize: Mahdi Zabolabbasi (Iran) Project “Spinning”
- Youth Award: Marina Fernández Fernández (Barcelona), project “Twenty Eight”
- Local Prize: Josep Boada (Girona), project “The Silence of the Species”
