Conference: A testimonial on the life of a photographer.

Born in New York and based in Catalonia, Michele Curel, a multidisciplinary photographer with multiple exhibitions behind her, tells us about her beginnings and shares situations, anecdotes and evolution in her 40 years of career as a professional photographer. She talks about the different challenges that a photographer can face to move forward with her profession/passion. He shares his experience, taking a tour of these 40 years in the profession, and how he entered the profession. He tells us how the “panorama” was when he started, vs. the current situation, and the differences in the profession between then and now. Michele gives us a tour of how her work has evolved over the years, and for what reasons. She poses the question: Can you make a living from the profession? and she tells us about situations in which she has had advantages or disadvantages, for being a woman photographer.
